Weinberg Modern Books

Weinberg Modern Books

Weinberg Modern Books specializes in modernist visual culture and intellectual history. We feature rare and important items in the fields of design, graphic design, art, and architecture. Graphic design and typography give visual shape and structure to the books, catalogs, posters, and ephemera that inform our experience of modern culture. Good graphic design becomes itself an inextricable part of the discourse, able to excite and inspire us. Our collection of modern graphic design ranges from foundational texts to type sample books, and includes part of a lifetime collection amassed by a long-time art director at CBS Television Network, himself a 1930’s student at the Cooper Union. We will be bringing numerous items from this collection to the fair, many publicly displayed for the first time.
